On Saturday, February 22nd, the Oakland Chinatown Improvement Council will be hosting a Chinese New Year Parade from 10AM to 4PM.  The parade will begin at Wilma Chan park and come down 9th Street to the Renaissance Plaza, then over to 10th street and back to the park.

A website/app has been set up for anyone who would like to help Pastor Tim, Christina and the family during his cancer treatments. If you would like to help, you can sign up at this link: https://link.ianacare.team/nrhYuUXcRQb  Everyone should sign up as a "Supporter." Once they are on Pastor Tim's "Team" they will then be able to see requests that come from the Lin Family. Once requests are posted they can sign up to help with that request through their computer or the Ianacare app.

On Sunday, February 23rd, we will have a GCM (General Congregational Meeting) that will begin at 12:30 in the Sanctuary.  The agenda items will include a year-end finance report and a report on our plans to support Pastor Tim and his family during his cancer journey.  We do not expect it will be a long meeting, so there will not be lunch provided.

During the month of February, we will be taking a Love Offering for victims of the L.A. fires.  In addition, all donations to the Benevolent Fund will go towards fire victims.  For Online Giving, please select the Fund Designation “Benevolent Fund”.  For all other donations, please indicate on the check or donation envelope, it is for “Love – Fire Victims”.  These donations may either be left in one of the offering boxes at the back of the Sanctuary or Fellowship Halls or they may be mailed to the church.
