The Goal
CIBC Children's Ministry is dedicated to partnering with parents to lead children into a loving relationship with God. Through age-specific lessons, activities, and small groups, your children learn biblical truths and real-life applications. We strive to create FUN, SAFE, and ENGAGING environments where kids can connect with their peers and the God who loves them.
Our Children's Ministry is specifically designed for children 3 years old - 5th grade. All abilities are welcome.
Sunday Children's Ministry
Beginner’s Church (3-5 years old): 1st hour 9:15am - 10:30am, (English) Room 202
2nd hour 11:00am - 12:15pm (Cantonese), Room 202
Children’s Church (1st - 5th grades) 9:15am - 11:00pm, Room 313
Note: The Children will participate with the Congregation in the Sanctuary from 9:15am to 9:35am.
Between 10:45am and 11:00am, the children will be provided with snacks and have supervised free time. They can be picked up by their parents during this time, or they can remain in the room until their teachers escort them to their Sunday school classrooms at 11:00am.

Biblical Teaching
Age appropriate curriculum
The purpose of the Children's Ministry is to help children come to know Christ and be biblically discipled. We teach biblical principles and life lessons that they can apply to their lives. Our goal is to educate children about Jesus and help them build up the body of Christ through love, service, and witness to the glory of God. Our hope is that, through the Children’s Ministries at CIBC, your child will have the opportunity to consistently grow in Christ, develop a Biblical worldview, and to serve God.

Safety is our top priority
We, as Christ's Followers, strive to live a dedicated life to follow HIS teaching, living a Christ-like life as a role model to minister to the Children who come each week. Although we are not perfect, we love the children and are willing to serve them and lead them to know Christ. All teachers are required to submit to a thorough background check. In addition, all teacher helpers must attend training.
