Our Women’s Ministry welcomes the ladies of the church to connect with one another in meaningful fellowship through studying and discussing God’s Word together and special events.
The Women’s Class on Sunday incorporates a variety of Bible studies using material from CIBC’s web resource, from other churches that are in alignment with CI’s doctrine, and from book studies by Christian authors. Lesson questions are given at the beginning of the week for class members to think about and answer. The following Sunday there is teaching on that lesson, a discussion where the ladies share insights gained during the week, and a time of personal sharing, often centered on application of that lesson. The class generally runs during the Fall and Spring quarters.
Occasionally there is a special women’s event that provides more opportunity to connect with each other and to reach out to women beyond our church. These events usually include worship, fun activities, testimonies, stimulating discussions and, of course, good food!
Announcements about the start of a Women’s Class for the coming quarter and special events are made during service and IBF.
